this is a 2.0.x issue, can a forum moderator move it to 2.0.x support forum ??

are you working on your localhost server ??

if yes, theres no problem, cause it can't send the welcome email using your localhost, when you upload your forum on the web, it will work.

if not, try setting smtp settings in your ACP.
