Dear Members,

i started my forum since just 2 weeks, and now i can get some search results from forum to be in the first page in google search results, im not a programer or that much experienced, but the udea is as Sannina said, u need to understand google, just read about google and u will be fine:

do the following 4 things and see results within 1 week:

1- join google webmasters tool, and submit a sitemap to ur web site, make sure google accepted it, by checking after 24 hours, it will give u verified near the name of sitemap in sitemaps list.

2- inside the xml sitemap file, u can set the importance of link and the period ur page change like telling google ur page change every few hours or daily , monthly weekly or always, try using always for the forum domain or forum link and give it the importance 0.9 or 1, the importance is a measure from 0 -1.

3- as a site owner, try to choose the topic of subjects u add carefull, for example when ur adding a program like WS_FTP think what will users search for in google before writing the topic of ur post, to be clear offcourse using ( WS_FTP ???????) WILL BE MUCH MORE BETTER THAT (???? ?????? ????? ?? ? ?? ?? ??? ???????) SINCE google like to search in phpbb post topic.

4- let google analytics visit ur web site, get an account on google analytics, let the analytics bot visit ur site and collect data, its free and give u exact statistics, and i believe it will inhance ur search results

wish this is usefull for u all guys, im not a programmer again but this what is happening with me , this what i did and i think its working good, im getting good search results even my site rank still 0.

sorry for writing inenglish, but im very slow in arabic, if admins see its usefull they can translate it.
