Update! The dl file now includes a test.php file for you to load to your phpbb root folder. Upload it, and visit it in your browser! If it tells you that there's a problem with your host/server... do not bother installing this hook until the issue is corrected! Once corrected, revisit this file to have it correct the config table to indicate compatibility.

If your host restricts or has disabled the use of fgc/curl, the hook will not be able to retrieve data from Facebook. Working around this with javascript is a security nightmare, so it has not nor will not be done! 99% of issues that arose on initial beta release of this hook stemmed from host issues. The hook now contains a check internally to ensure it can retrieve data from facebook, and if not will disable itself. Do not attempt to 'force' the hook past this check.
