I converted the vB to phpBB, still I had some problems. vB character unicode was latin or something like that, but phpBB doesn't recognize it and there are some gaps in posts/topics, where is used letters such as ?????. Some part of information were lost due to the character unicode, but this is normal, I suppose. It isn't the main problem, because I can edit these posts anytime. The biggest problem is with the quote tables, for example: Click here to see the image

They are messed up and I don't know, where i have to start to get them fixed.

Also there are some vB tags, what are not used in phpBB. How should I correct them?

The post text being cutoff is due to a character encoding problem. If you tell me what language your board uses, I may be able to provide a fix.

The quote table problem is most likely caused by the post text missing which is cuasing the closing quote tags to be missing.

You will need to fix some of the vB bbcodes during the conversion so phpBB3 will recognize them. There can't be any quotation marks within the bbcode tags. For instance, you need to replace with . You will also need to adjust the size in the size tags. size=1 will be so small you will not be able to read the text. As a guide, change the sizes like this:
size=1 to size=100
size=2 to size=120
size=3 to size=150
size=4 to size=170
size=5 to size=180
size=6 to size=200
Adjust to suit your preferences.

Any vB bbcodes that are not supported by phpBB3 can be added to phpBB3 in the Administration Panel under the posting tab. This must be done before the conversion. See this Knowledge Base article, Adding Custom BBCodes in phpBB3, and this topic, Custom BBCodes
